Grand Prize

CardRunners.com will provide the winner with a 4 day 3 night trip to Las Vegas during the World Series of Poker to have dinner with the Pros from CardRunners.com. Package includes Airfare, Hotel, dinner with at least one of the Pros and entry to VIP Party.

The Challenge

CardRunners.com will be providing a brand new breakthrough product initially released exclusively to members of the American Poker Invitational called the Poker Semester in early April. Also available now are Gold memberships and 24 hour passes allowing you to view hundreds of videos. Every API Player who registers for free will also receive 4 instructional videos at no cost.

We suggest that you simply register for free and view your complimentary CardRunners videos. If you enjoy them as we are sure you will then feel free to sign up for Poker Semester or any one of the training memberships offered by CardRunners.com/API. Next study and apply the material you learn at your nightly American Poker Invitational Tournaments and through the CardRunners instructional videos and forums.

Your challenge is to learn and practice the strategies taught to you by some of the best players in the world. Convince us of how much this training has benefited you by using your new found skills in a number of ways including;

• Play in API events and try to reach the final table at the nightly tournaments, see how many you can make.
• Climb the American Poker Invitational Leaderboard,
• Final Table the Monthly or Quarterly Leaderboard Invitational events or the Tournament of Champions.
• Submit a written overview of how CardRunners and playing in the American Poker Invitational league have helped develop your game.
• Impress your fellow players and Tournament Directors with your new skills!

Judging

Semi Finalist will be selected by API tournament Directors, API Regional Managers and Supervisors and Executives of the American Poker Invitational. At least one player will be nominated by fellow league players via a poll. API Player committee will also nominate semi finalist.

The Final contestants will be selected from the semi finalists by American Poker Invitational Executives, Regional Managers, Supervisors and Tournament Directors. Members of the American Poker Invitational Player committee may also be invited to vote for finalists.

The Finalists will then be judged on what they have learned by demonstrating their skills over a 60 minute period playing while the judges look on then spending a few minutes talking with the pros where the Pros will gauge each Finalist grasp of the concepts and finally submitting a written overview on their new found skills and how CardRunners.com and playing in the American Poker Invitational league have helped them exceed.

• The Judges will consist of 3 Pros from CardRunners.com and at least one member of API Executive Management.

• The Judges shall have the sole authority and discretion to select the winner

Contest Rules

To participate in the CardRunners.com American Poker Invitational Player Contest you must be at least 18 years old and an active member of the American Poker Invitational and have registered with CardRunners. Registration is free.

If you are selected as a finalist or winner, you agree that American Poker Invitational and CardRunners.com may publicize your name, picture, likeness and description of your success experienced to win the contest. You agree to allow full publicity of your success. Neither API nor Cardrunners.com, its executives or shareholders will be liable or obligated for any compensation beyond the prize awarded.

One package will be awarded to the winner. He or she will "Have Dinner with the Pros" in Las Vegas during the WSOP. CardRunners.com will provide the winner with air transportation to Las Vegas along with hotel accommodation for 4 days and 3 nights and the winner will have dinner with one of more of the Pros.

Each entrant shall indemnify, defend, and hold American Poker Invitational, CardRunners.com its executives and shareholders harmless from any and all claims arising from or related to that entrant's participation in the Contest. In no event shall API or CardRunenrs.com be liable to an entrant for acts or omissions arising out of or related to the Contest or that entrant's participation in the Contest.

Odds of winning depend on the number of entrants received. No prize substitution is permitted.

Notification

Semi Finalist will be selected no later than January 31st, 2009 and finalist will be notified shortly thereafter and will receive a date that they will be judged.

CardRunners and or the American Poker Invitational have the right to modify this promotion at any time. Check back for any changes to the rules or prize and structure. Changes if there are any, will always be posted here on the web site.
